As head of UK policy, Daniel Wilson is responsible for the BBC’s day-to-day engagement with UK policy debates and policymakers in government and regulatory bodies. He leads on a broad range of policy issues across the regulation of BBC content, its distribution and its contribution to the wider creative economy.
Prior to this, he spent three years as the BBC’s head of international policy. In this capacity, he was responsible for engagement with the EU institutions and international public service broadcasters. Before joining the BBC, he worked for five years in Parliament as an adviser on media policy among other issues.
