Damian Tambini is research director and associate professor in the department of media and communications of the LSE, and is convenor of the MSc in Communication Governance.
Damian is also an associate fellow at IPPR and at the Oxford Internet Institute. In addition, Damian ran the IPPR Media Policy Project between 1999 and 2003, and the Oxford University Programme in Comparative Media Law and Policy between 2002 and 2007. He served as a member of the Communications Consumer Panel, and has published numerous books and articles on Media Regulation and Policy. From 2014-2015 Damian was appointed to the Committee of Experts advising DCMS on measuring the social value of spectrum. Damian founded and directs the Media Policy Project at the London School of Economics.
