Patrick Younge is the Founder and Managing Director of Cardiff Productions, an award winning television production company, and a non executive director of ITV Studios. Previous to his current role he has been a digitial transformation consultant, a former Chief Creative Officer of BBC Television Production and was President/General Manager of Travel Channel Media, an award winning US cable business.
After graduating from Cardiff University in 1987, Younge served two years as the Vice President (Education) of the National Union of Students, before starting his career in journalism and broadcasting.
He has campaigned to improve cultural diversity in television throughout his 30 years in the industry, which included working for the BBC, ITV, Discovery Communications and Channel 4.
He served on the Expert Group of the European Broadcasting Union assessing the future of public service broadcasting, and is a Fellow of the Royal Television Society and Royal Society of Arts.
