Charlie Beckett is the director of Polis, the LSE’s journalism think-tank and a professor in the Media and Communications Department at LSE. He is special sdviser on broadcasting to the Commons Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee. He is a former journalist at the BBC and ITN and the author of ‘SuperMedia’ and ‘WikiLeaks: News In The Networked Era’.
