James Heath is Director of Policy at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). For the last two years, James has been project director for the BBC’s input to the Charter Review process. Reporting to the BBC’s Director General, James oversees public policy development, government relations and regulatory affairs at UK and EU levels. Previously, James was Head of Strategy for the BBC’s Journalism Division, advising on strategy for its news, sport and local services. James has also worked as a policy advisor at ITV plc, the British Chambers of Commerce and the Labour Party.
