Colette was appointed Ofcom Chair in March 2009. She began her career at the Department of Trade and Industry and subsequently worked at the Independent Broadcasting Authority, the Securities and Investment Board, as Chief Executive of the Personal Investment Authority and as Executive Chairman of the European Asset Management Business at Robert Fleming. Colette chaired Ofcom’s Consumer Panel from its inception in 2003 to December 2007. She is a Vice President of the Royal Television Society and a visiting Fellow at Nuffield College, Oxford.
