Ayesha is a senior adviser at the BPI working on strategy and communications.
She is also media commentator and appears regularly on the BBC, Sky and ITN as well as writing for national newspapers and magazines including the Scotsman, Guardian, Evening Standard, FT and Grazia.
Before that, Ayesha was a senior political adviser to the Labour party for more than eight years in Government and Opposition and worked for Ed Miliband and Harriet Harman.
Before working in politics, Ayesha worked for music giant EMI and was a civil servant press officer at the Department of Trade and Industry, Home Office and No 10.
