Independent Producer and Chair of British Broadcasting Challenge
Patrick Younge is a media executive with over 30 years industry experience in the UK and abroad, much of it at senior level. In addition to his own creative consultancy, Skin In The Game Studios, he is currently founder and Non-executive director of Cardiff Productions and a non-executive director at ITV Studios Ltd. His previous posts include being Chief Creative Officer of BBC Production (Studios), responsible for over 3000 BBC programme makers in comedy, entertainment, factual and drama. Prior to the BBC he led the successful creative and financial turnaround of US cable network, Travel Channel Media, through the introduction of award winning shows helmed by talent like the late Anthony Bourdain (No Reservations) and Adam Richman (Man v Food) (USA). He has also worked in News and Sport.
In November 2021 he was appointed Chair of the Council at Cardiff University, and previously served seven years on the University of West London Board of Governors.
