Keith Harrison has been editor of the Wolverhampton-based Express & Star, Britain’s biggest-selling regional newspaper, since 2013.
He is also editorial director of parent group, the Midland News Association, responsible for more than 20 weekly and monthly titles, ranging from local newspapers to glossy magazines.
He was previously deputy editor of the E&S for 10 years, before being appointed editor of sister daily the Shropshire Star in 2011.
He is a board member of the Regulatory Funding Company, which raises a levy on the news media and magazine industries to finance the Independent Press Standards Organisation.
A journalist for 30 years, Keith has covered a huge range of stories in the West Midlands, as well as reporting from Bosnia and Northern Ireland. In 2003, he was one of only a handful of regional press reporters embedded with UK forces during the Iraq war.
Keith is a director of MNA Digital, which produces the parent group’s online output, and has also sat on the board of three local radio stations.
