Cat is a BAFTA and Royal Television Society award-winning executive producer. She runs her own Manchester-based independent production company, employing 26 people, which makes documentaries, current affairs, factual formats and drama documentaries for BBC One, Channel 4, Channel 5, BBC Three, CBBC, C&I Network, Bio and TLC (The Learning Channel in the US). Cat set up Nine Lives in September 2007 and is the company’s owner, chief executive and executive producer. She is also vice chair of PACT, the UK’s professional affiliation of TV producers, founder and chair of the North’s Indie Club, is on the RTS Committee in the North West, and is part of Creative Skillset’s Northern Panel.
